HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR INTERLOCKING FLOORING PIECE REQUIREMENT

NOTE: All tiles need only 4 corner blocks and have beveled edging on all four sides. The dimensions of your tiles must be in feet and even numbered dimensions. Odd number dimensions must be rounded either up or down.

• STEP #1: Multiply the length times the width.
• STEP #2: Subtract two feet from each of these dimensions and multiply together.
• STEP #3: Divide the answer in step #2 by four. This is your center tile requirement.
• STEP #4: Subtract the answer in step #2 from the answer in step #1 and then subtract twelve from that figure.
• STEP #5: Divide the answer in step #4 by two. This is your border tile requirement.

NOTE: For wall to wall installation, only center tiles are required. Calculate the square feet of area you want to cover and divide that figure by four.

EXAMPLE LAYOUT SIZE 16' x 10'

NOTE: You will need four corner tiles

• STEP #1: 16 x 10 = 160
• STEP #2: 14 x 8 = 112
• STEP #3: 112 divided by 4 = 28 center tiles
• STEP #4: 160 -112 = 48 - 12 = 36
• STEP #5: 36 divided by 2 = 18 border tiles
